I played this course today for the first time. I see it listed in Golf Digest as being one of the top public courses. It is a Donald Ross course and the layout was great. The course had recently been aerated and the tee boxes were still a bit rough. Greens are fantastic. This course is only about 15 minutes from my house and I think it may be my new "home" course. This past Thursday, Marc Salerno managed to wrangle up an invitation for us to play at the Parkland Country Club. It’s a private course, within an exclusive community, and it’s a absolutely gorgeous venue. Naturally, the course is manicured to perfection, the greens are flawless, the amenities are beautiful and as with most exclusive courses, woefully underutilized.
